I recently bought 2 older (pre-2009) B6 lav mics to use with my G3 wireless system instead of the stock mics it came with. Unfortunately when buying it I didn't know that my old B6 can't support the new G3 wiring standard without making a connector with a diode in it to get the voltage right. I'd much rather be able to buy a connector made by sennheiser or countryman that I know is good quality than make my own one that could fail in the middle of a film day, but I'm having trouble finding anything like that online.

Has anyone else had any problems similar to mine? If so how did you deal with it?
