Joe is an award-winning recording engineer and sound designer. Over the last twenty years he has created radio and television commercials for several major advertising agencies, including sixteen years as head recording engineer for Ogilvy & Mather Chicago.

He is co-founder of Toxic Bag Productions, Inc., a Chicago-based production company that inhabits the theatre, independent film and role-playing game worlds. A musician since age six, Joe also composes music for many of his theatre, film and sound design projects.
